Our course raises deaf awareness and teaches new communication skills for all children to enjoy.
The course was developed and trialed with hearing and deaf children to make the content accessible, fun to learn and inclusive for all children to enjoy. It is packed full of games and activities covering topics such as deaf awareness, the alphabet, first conversations, food, animals...to name but a few. It is a good introduction for children who may wish to go on to take BSL as a GCSE in the future.
Teaching a visual language improves inclusivity from an early age, integrating and uniting children while providing them with another great way to communicate.

We work with a local BSL teacher (with enhanced DBS, safeguarding knowledge and first aid training) .
